Living Hope Announcements Continued

Spring cleaning time for the church kitchen is scheduled for May 5th from 10:00 am until noonish. This is directly after the monthly women’s coffee time. Many hands make work light! Your help is greatly appreciated.

Save the Date: The next Ladies Paint Night will be Friday, May 15th. More information and a sign up sheet coming soon.

The Leadership team is inviting you to pray and fast with us. To fast one meal on Thursdays for the next 6 months. Choose to fast a meal where you can spend that time in prayer. If Thursday does not work for you, choose a day that works for you. The reason for prayer and fasting is a recognition that Jesus is building His church. We believe that God will speak to us and provide vision, direction, and wisdom for us as a local church. We are praying and seeking God so that we can join Him in what He is doing, to be used by Him as He builds His church.

Mom’s Club – This is a group from several different churches that meet at Living Hope. They typically meet two Tuesdays a month. Meet from 6:15–8:30PM. Childcare is available if needed.

Plans are starting for the churchwide garage sale. This will be held May 1 & 2. There will be a signup sheet at the church if you would like to help or sign up to participate. You can also text Denielle @ 315-408-1887

The annual NY Unit Mennonite Disaster Service fundraiser meal is sheduled for May 1, starting 4:00, at Naumburg Mennonite Church.  Please come and support our goal of serving the community and constructing a storage building. With the sale of Maple Ridge, we need to relocate the MDS storage space and the MCC Meat Canner space.  Our goal is to finance a building sufficient for both, with the possibility of building MDS house sections to be used in Region 1. Come and enjoy a delicious venison/ham meal for a good cause. We offer both sit-down and drive-thru take-out. Are you interested in making food or helping to serve?  Please contact Carla Roes at clarence7643@yahoo.com or 315-523-5502. Respond. Rebuild. Restore. Together we can!
